There are many ways in which one can look at or evaluate a
photograph. One such way is a method or theoretical framework called Thematic Taxonomy. This method looks at the themes found in photographs. These themes can range from common critical theory based on analysis methods used to evaluate fine arts to subjective interpretations based on personal association.
This system could be the framework for organizational software used by museums for exhibit development. It could be used to catalogue and archive a large box of family photographs.
